Michelle is starting her own interior design business after having work for 20 years for other folks in the commercial interior design industry, hotels, retail, hospitality, multi-residential, high-end residential projects and more. Completing her own home renovation ignited her desire to specialise in residential design.
Michelle believes that her clients should be allowed to express their unique style; so that she can design a space that reflects their personality, not hers.
Michelle's new website and brand will serve as a marketing tool and portfolio of experience. The main audience we are speaking to is like-minded architects and secondarily for individual clients who will engage those architects as the ultimate client (with residential projects or possibly even commercial clients).
We needed to create a journey to the contract form to start a new project, to win 2-3 big, juicy projects per year and do the interior design and finishes selection for large new builds or extensions.

Michelle excels at 3D planning and drafting - her technical drawings are so instructive to look at! We wanted to include that technical vibe, pair it with a neutral warm palette, and create space for client imaginations and portfolio projects to shine and not be overwhelmed. Michelle's logo is a monogram of her initials created on the 3D. Her fonts are balanced to show the freedom of design, with the structure of a brilliant plan.
The colours are fresh and warm, welcoming, and with a high contrasts a preference, and lower contrast when watermarking.
Michelle's website has vertical and horizontal lines which create "rooms" on the page much like a floorplan and to divide the space between sections. The fonts and text work with mockups to create freedom in white space, reducing visual clutter and creating ease.
We have used scrollbars containing position statements to create interest and movement on the page.
We won a few awards for this site, too.
