We played with the concept of "turning on the lights" creating dark spaces which become light on user hover.
Large call-to-action buttons connected to the phone number are placed in prominent positions across the site - some folks who want an electricican are in a state of emergency and don't want to have to scroll or search to find the phone number, then write it down, then call: just see above the fold, click and a call is started!
The on site search is deep and useful, showing google like highlighted results on their services pages so users can find exactly what they need. It's also super great for SEO too.
