Paul Noble is a UK expat and Tassie Local.
His cleverly random career path of graphic design, printmaking and engineering became the foundation for his company, Noble Ink (how handy to have a brand-able surname!)
With a laptop, a printer and some quill + ink drawings, he and his Tasmanian wife and migrated from the UK to TAS. He had always wanted to start my own business so then, out of a suitcase, he did.
It started with a borrowed printer, some of his own designs, and a local market. Paul still has a photo of his with an open car boot at that first market hanging on his wall in-store.

Paul wanted to enable his clients to design their own business cards and flyers on site, to upload artworks and get work out of his inbox. His would also mean that payments would be collected automatically withut the need for invoicing (yay, less admin!), account creation and storage so customers could easily reorder on their own.
Noble Ink, like most printers, has volume pricing discount rules which needed to be factored in and displayed in a helpful way.

Noble Ink's brand was already very well established when we came along. We took the aglet font family, expanded on the red and grey, made some registration and halftone elements, and implemented the brand consistently across the website.
Paul had an idea about an animation for his hero on the homepage, and with our animator we were able to deliver his new tagline and concept in an animation that just rocks.
We created a tiered pricing table which shows clearly the unit price for each item to customers can see what their discounts are as they change the contents of their cart. All addons are priced separately too.
Customers are able to create an account and store their designs for a later date, or to order reprints.
Each service type has its own page and product feed to maximise SEO value and to tell the Noble Ink story in a deeper way.
The menu system is full page on desktop, allow us to provide more real estate to search and account location.
