Chris and Sue are part of the land in spirit, and in body.
Five Bob Farm, named for the amount exchanged for the original parcel of land, is a working farm in the Channel region of Southern Tasmania. A huge pepperberry farm, chickens, art trail, and venue dot the green grounds - you can even call in and get your veg when they advertise on facebook!
Chris and Sue wanted to show what they have to offer, how to book The Venue, and spark people's imaginations.
A sister site for the Art Farm to showcase all that the farm has to offer besides the sculpture trail. The brand work was completed elsewhere - so we picked up the colour palette and icon to create a wondeful little animation, interesting navigation, and worked with the photographer to curate a gorgeous selection of images. A dark grey soil like base to make the vibrant greens jump from the screen, subtle logo animation, layered design and a focus on the images. Big galleries to showcase The Venue were an absolute must!
We created an interesting but clear navigation, which shows when you are going to exit the site to a sister site (the peppeberies and art farm have their own sites).
Large hero images were chosen, but because they were so complex any overlaid text is given a frosted glass background and drop shadow for easy reading.
