The Project Brief
Tarkine Fresh Oysters came to us with a bold mission: to reimagine their brand to reflect their commitment to sustainability, community, and the distinct beauty of Tasmania. Through a series of deep-dive workshops, we absorbed the full story – from the meticulous oyster farming process to the breathtaking surroundings of the Tarkine region.
Our task was clear: create a brand that communicates the purity, sustainability, and local pride at the heart of their oysters while appealing to travelers, foodies, and eco-conscious consumers seeking more than just a meal – they wanted an experience, a journey into Tasmania’s soul.

An invitation to experience the true essence of Tasmania’s West Coast – hard and rugged on the surface, but full of rewarding treasures beneath. It mirrors the experience of cracking open an oyster shell, revealing the rich and complex flavors inside. It’s bold, real, and raw – a call to adventure.
Brand Marks: The Power of Place
The brand visuals are a tribute to the Tarkine region itself – rugged coastlines, waves crashing against the shore, and the vitality of the ocean that nourishes each oyster. The design is raw, natural, and impactful, much like the region it represents. It’s the perfect blend of nature’s strength and the delicate care that goes into producing every oyster.
The Logo: Bold and Grounded
The Tarkine Fresh logo strikes a balance between raw authenticity and refined elegance. The fluid shapes echo the ocean’s rhythm, while the sharp, confident typography speaks to the premium quality and heritage of Tasmania’s oyster farming. It’s bold yet grounded – just like the oysters themselves.

We created two distinct customer profiles to guide our design and messaging: The Experience Seeker and The Sustainability Advocate. These profiles allowed us to speak directly to those who crave authenticity, sustainability, and a deeper connection to the places they visit.
