Info In Order

Bringing Order to Chaos: One Archive at a Time!

Info In Order is the brainchild of Suzy Howlett, a meticulous mind with a passion for archives, records, and the fine art of information management. After a decade as a Google engineer, Suzy pivoted to the world of archiving, where their unique ability to see patterns, structure data, and create order from chaos became a highly sought-after skill. Armed with a Master’s in Records & Archives Management, Suzy now works with libraries, museums, historical societies, and individuals, offering on-demand, expert-level archival support.

The Project Brief

Info In Order needed a brand that captured precision, organisation, and a personal touch. The challenge? Avoiding the overly corporate, tech-heavy feel while still showcasing expertise in both traditional and digital archiving. The brand had to communicate trust, meticulous care, and Suzy’s ability to transform overwhelming collections into accessible, structured information.

BRAND DESIGN

Tagline: “Turning Information into Understanding”
This tagline encapsulates Info In Order’s mission—not just to organise information but to make it useful, meaningful, and accessible.

The Logo: Precision Meets Personality
At the heart of the brand sits a monoline owl, perched on a Bevelled Glass green circle. The owl’s hand-shaped wing represents Suzy’s hands-on approach, while its book-inspired eyebrow symbolises archival expertise. The entire logo is crafted using the Fibonacci spiral, reinforcing themes of order, balance, and meticulous design.

Typography: Structure & Flow
The primary typeface, Strawford, brings a clean, structured look that reflects Info In Order’s precision. Omnipop Script, the secondary font, introduces a subtle handwritten element that adds personality and warmth, perfectly complementing the monoline style of the owl illustration.

Colour Palette
The Info In Order colour palette is a balance of calm, confidence, and clarity, designed to make clients feel both supported and in control.

The deep grounding of Moonless Night creates a sense of reliability and trust, while the softness of Not Quite White ensures that every interaction feels approachable and easy to navigate. Bevelled Glass green introduces a refreshing, modern energy, reinforcing the idea of clarity and insight, while Iolite and Dazzling Blue add structure and professionalism without feeling cold or corporate.

Finally, Sand Dollar brings warmth and a connection to the tangible, tactile world of archives, ensuring the brand feels as much about people as it does about precision. Together, these colours create an experience that is structured yet inviting, professional yet personal—just like the work Suzy does.

Voice & Style
Info In Order speaks with calm confidence, warmth, and clarity. The tone is insightful but never overwhelming, ensuring that every interaction leaves clients feeling supported, informed, and in control of their information.

This brand is not just about archiving—it’s about helping clients feel relief, clarity, and understanding. Through structured design, a personal touch, and meticulous organisation, Info In Order is a trusted guide in the world of records and archives.
